Graduated as a professional in Plant Ecology from the University of Panama. He has developed his orientation and vocation towards research and teaching in the areas of botany, ethnobotany, environment and research methodology. He has worked professionally through consultancies in public and private entities in Panama and Central America, through the execution of designs, works, consultancies and supervision of projects related to ecology, environmental sciences, climate change and environmental management, focusing on the development of research work in the phases of design, monitoring and operation. He currently works as a consultant, teacher and researcher in studies related to urban forests and interaction with stakeholders such as communities, environmental authorities and academic groups. He has a high social and environmental commitment related to sustainable development, conservation, exploitation and efficient use of natural resources from an ecosystemic and sustainability approach.
